If im going to switch from stage "1" to "0" stock with the UTEC should I turn down the ABC? Say I turned it 2.5 turns to tune stage one psi. If I want to switch to the stock setting "0" should I turn it back down the 2.5 turns? Any info would be great! Im planning a long trip and dont see the need to run stage 1 the whole way.

Thanks,

actually, if you dont gun it you are running factory parameters on
stage1 unless you modified the map.

i get better milage on stage1 than before (stock).

correct me if im wrong.

Yea I did find that I would get a bit better milage on Stage 1 than stock (before the utec). I guess I have actually found a few weird things with highway driving with the utec, it seems once the engine gets all warmed up and Im not "driving" the car, I can hear this odd dull moaning...? not sure if its comming from the drivetrain/trasmission or the engine. I was thinking maybe the MAP sensor had something to do with this? An Ideas? Basically your saying if I switch to the stock "0" map on the utec, as long as I dont step on it, all will be ok? I guess if I had the romote map switch and did this on the go there would be no reason to adjust the ABC. thus the answer to my question!

I am basically running a stock car, only upgrade is samco IC hoses, I have felt a REAL difference in my car with the utec stage 1. Maybe the hum/moan has something to do with the resonator box ( i did not remove or hack it). Any input you have would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you're after safety then I would close the abc.
