Can you guys post the news/rumors of the upcoming Legacy Turbo cars? Are they gonna be just sedans? Any Wagon options? What are the rumors on engine choices and pricing? When are they gonna be annouced? I was in the market for a '04 WRX Wagon, but it looks like it isn't gonna happen. I want my creature comforts and turbo power. Thanks.

If you search, you will get a ton of rumors...and rumors is all it is.

2.5L Turbo ~280hp probably a 2005 model.

They will probably announce somtime next spring...my guess.

I thought somebody mentioned the possibility of something coming this year like late summer to fall. Any possibilities of this year that anybody knows. I'm going to need a car this year, next year will be too late.

A dealer expressed this logic to me. All the turbos come from Japan. All the Legacys and 6s are in and assembled in the US. The easiest thing for them to do is put the 6 in the existing Legacy from the Outback (212HP) for 2004 and retool for a possibly different motor with the redesign in 2005. 212 is still better than 165. Guess we'll see.

That will probably change since the Baja turbo will be assembled here in NA, so likely will the Legacy turbo.
