I just used it for the 1st time on my Sube and on my wifes acura. I'm happy with it. Right after I put it on, it rained 2 days later, and it does what it says: the water just beads up and rolls off.
In terms of looks, my car is almost new and washed it regularly so there wasnt a big difference but on my wife's car, you could tell. It's about 2 yrs old and after waxing, the original shine and luster was restored.
I'm happy with it.

O MAN ZYMOL RULES! you can even use it in direct sun.. For $18 per bottle I am happy. I liek the way it shines and the rains just slides right off. that and rain X, gotta love the RAIN X..

I heard that that "Mother's" stuff is pretty good. I actually saw a commercial for that stuff that Neuspeed did for them and I think I saw a scooby on it. Can anyone confirm what I saw

Rain-X rocks. It should be a law to use it. I was doing 75 on the highway with no wipers when there was a ton of people parked on the side of the road because it was comming down so hard. The harder it rains, the better it works.

I love rain-x. It's so amazing what it can do.

I use zymol, and it's pretty good, although I did find it kinda hard to remove the residue. But that could just be me. Anyways, you're not supposed to use zymol in direct sunlight. i used the "wipes" and i foudn that it does'nt work as good as the liquid.

I have to get some Xymol. A friend tried it and you could definately see the difference even on a practically new car.

I've been using Rain-X for years. It has definately saved me in a major rain storm more than once. It's amazing how many people don't really know it exists. Must be because they don't advertise that much. My older brother turned me on to it about 15 years ago when he had a Porsche and used it religiously. My son used the Rain-X Anti-fog the other day and it did make a terrible mess on the inside of his windshield. Finally got it cleaned using water and Windex. I guess we'll have to see if it really works as well as the outside Rain-X does. The wipes are a waste, but easy to use. I think I'm addicted to the liquid. It seems like everytime I go to a auto parts store I think, "hum, do I have anymore at home? Guess I'll buy another bottle." Now I have about 5 in the garage. I have to stop doing that. Check it out though. Cheap insurance.

just tried nu-finish as well, doesn't seem to do much in terms of swirl removal/coverup, or smoothness of the paint, but it does seem to make water 'bead up' on the surface- and the finish seems to make cleaning dirt of the car easier- application can be a bit tricky as you have to wipe it off before the stuff off before it gets too dry, but you can't wipe it off too early or it will just come off-

That stuff is crap. It takes forever to get off, and does not work all that great either. Not to mention you won't be able to see out the windshield. You might as well spray paint the windshield.

Also I thought I should add in here that I have been told that the Zymol you buy in the blue bottle at your auto parts store is not the good stuff.

There are different levels of the formula and you want to purchase the one available from Zymol's website and NOT from the auto store. The stuff at the auto store is crap.

I use Mother's Carnauba Gold in the tin. The stuff is hard as a rock to get on the car and even more of a pain to get off... but the results are better than any liquid wax I have used.

Oh, and I use rain-x on my windshield. Still on my original rubber wipers after 30k miles and two south carolina summers. Heh those things are shot... But RainX wins again! My only problem is the RainX Cycle. You must keep applying it or you are in trouble!

I have been detailing cars for the past 5 years. Detail classic cars, campers, RVs and even firetrucks. I use Nu Finish. If you are not going to buff the car or if the car is in decent shape I would suggest Nu Finish it removes more of the small everyday scuffs and scratches. It always removes oxidation. Zymol is good, but I don't think it is any better then the 6 bucks for a bottle of Nu Finish. BTW Nu Finish is not a wax, there for it will not build up or harm any clearcoat vehicle. Use it on your headlights and tailights, dirt will stick half as much.
