hey guys,
I still need help with finding someone to help me in terms of a possible repair of a fourth gear synchro. I haven't tried warrentee coverage but probably will early this week( it just started).
I would just like to find someone in the phoenix area the is very good with subaru trannies in case I have to go to plan b.

I appreciate any help,
Terry Mc

p.s. I apoligize for the use of all caps on my last thread.

np terry. You can try Robert Ansick of Forced Air Tech (http://www.forcedairtech.com) for some of you tranny work. I have worked with on numerous occasions and have been satisified with the work (plus he's done engine building and turbo kit installs for my RS-T)

Whatever you do DO NOT go to "Interstate" or "State to State" Transmissions (or whatever they're calling themselves these days). It's been 10 or 15 years since I went there, but when I did they put my transmission in and only "finger-tighted" the bolts. Then darn thing almost seperated from the engine on the way home.
