Anybody done this, replaced the stock h1 in the edm lhd's to the phillips vision plus? Also I just installed my lhd's and was wondering if i got it correct. The drl's are the low beams just not as bright and the low beams are low beam light a little brighter with the city light in top corner. Thanks for your help, Pat

Just found some answers to the questions above after the 100th search. Are the vision pluses higher wattage or stock?

You should have your DRL module disconnected if you have these headlights installed. Unplug the connector behind the glovebox...directions can be found very easily with a search.

If you search on my username you will find a writeup (and pics) of my switch to VisionPlus bulbs with these headlights...this was two or three months ago at least. That thread is in the Dress Up and Style forum somewhere.

To my knowledge these are not higher wattage, merely a superior bulb.

It isn't bad to keep drl's activated with these headlights, i actually think it looks pretty cool with JUST the projector and no city lights on.

It isn't bad for the them or anything unless you have HIDs correct?
