What's the VIP program and how do I get on it? Also, what does it do for you?

You will get shafted if you trade your car in. You could get at least $1000. - $2000. more than your dealer will give you.

I'm eligable to use the VIP program but, will the dealership take a trade on this program? And what's dealer cost on the WRX? My dealer didn't know exactly, and he wants me to put down $500 to order the car. Am I getting shafted?

AutoXr - The VIP program is for people with connections to SoA. Either through a friend, family member or employer. IIRC, it allows you to get the car at, or very close to, dealer cost.

I'm not sure if dealer cost has been announced yet, but it supposed to around $2000 off MSRP. Maybe try a search. You usually lose out on a trade in. I did on a Neon but it was well worth it.

Has anyone been able to use the VIP program to purchase their WRX??? I went to my local Subaru dealership tonight and the GM tried to tell me that the WRX was not covered by the VIP program. Has anyone had luck with this?? (getting the WRX with VIP) If so, could you tell me the dealership and their phone number?? This guy is going to call Subaru tomorrow and check again, but, if he comes back and tells me that it isn't covered I want an example to throw back in his face.

For the International Mountain Bike Association you need to be a member for at least 6 months to get the benefit. I don't know about other organizations.

Thats funny my post got bumped back up! Because I just ordered a WRX today on the VIP program, I got it for invoice + destination and preferred package group 2 (security, compass mirror) all dealer cost!

Could you tell me the name and phone number of the dealership you went to? Like I stated in my post, I had trouble convincing this jerk at my local Subaru dealership that the WRX is covered.

It's Kelly subaru in Tallahassee, I don't have the number on me. But SOA's VIP program (the 1-800 number) told me that I could get a WRX but I may have to order and wait for it, like everyone else. Try to search for the dealership on the subaru website http://www.subaru.com/
