If you need directions, or hotel/motel info, list yourself here and e-mail me. So that I know how many rooms, or hotels to reserve. I will see about getting a group discount. (hopefully the hotel willnot be stuck in customs heheh, sorry I couldn't resist <FONT size="1">this is not directed towards anyone btw.</FONT s>)

PAt I will call you to get some better info.

hell, if worst comes to worst, we can just rally-x and auto-x and then just meet in a parking lot one day. and party at the campground of course! still though, there is only a month left and it would be reassuring to hear from some of the event organizers.

Agreed. What IS the plan for that weekend? I've already reserved a bed at a friend's place for that weekend but I'd love to know the 5 W's, the 411, the information....

Yeah, I think it will be a bit toned down from the original plans. The great dane that said "oh, oh let me do it, let me do it, I have done it before, you have no idea what to do, let me, let me!" Bailed on the board, and his customers.

Well before I turn this into a flame war, I better stop while I'm ahead.

Anyway, If any travlers have any special requests, please let me know. I am in the KC area, and would be more than happy to help.

As it stands, I will TRY to get a map with a central hotel to the rally and auto-x sites, and lay out some different resteraunts, alternate hotels, Car washs http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/smile.gif, movie theaters, malls, (keep the visiting wives happy), I will check the Royals schedule, and I know that the Titanic exhibit is here untill September and heard it is pretty good. I will see what else I can find.

Any suggestions are welcome, just keep in mind I have a full time job, little boy, and a will be starting a second job soon. But if it is for the club I love I don't mind a little extra work. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/wink.gif

There's no way I can take over heading the event, but if something does happen I can try to help. If Dane had organized WITH the i-club people instead of pissing them off this might have been cool. Maybe we should just shoot for a midwest deal. Hell even that's kind of a big goal, maybe just Mo-Kan-Neb-Iowa or something. Just throwing out ideas. I'm near the airport, Pat you have my # if you want to get in touch with me about anything.

Well, If Dane bailed on his, its his name that will be chanted as we burn his effige at the camp site.....can whom ever find a camp ground near by for us, and give directions for that, and what is the scoop on the rally cross? Should I be bringing my skid plate or my autocross shoes?

If needed, I would love to donate the domain name and web hosting for www.nationalsubarumeet.com (http://www.nationalsubarumeet.com) or something. Let me know, I can have it running in 2 days generally! Would be a good place for people to post hotel info, flight info, and maybe even keep a headcount...

If I remember right, there is a KOA campsite just minutes away from TopDogs house on I-70. I dont know if they have tent camping or not but its worth a look.

Shawn, bring both.
There WILL be on Rally-x on Saturday and if you want to stick around for Sunday. SCCA is having a Auto-x. So we shall still have plenty to do. One of the local Subaru guys, Dad owns the field that we are going to use. So it a pretty sweet deal.
I am going to the site this coming Sunday. I am meet a NE Oklahoma Region SCCA member out of Tulsa who did rally-x before to help out a little.
KOA.....I am not sure on that. I'll look around for camp grounds. Heck, my BIG back yard. HA HA HA HA

I found 2 KOA sites that will work for us. It lookes like the Missouri one is cheaper but possibly further from the sites, and sights...

here is the Mo site: http://www.koa.com/where/morekampgroundinfo/25140rates.htm

And the KS site: http://www.koa.com/where/morekampgroundinfo/16104rates.htm

It breaks down to where the tent sites are like $16-20 per night, per 2 adults. (do we even have any adults attending?)

I called both sites, to get more info, but got the machine both times, I will continue to check into it though. I assume everyoone will want to be at one location.

Pat I cannot find your #! Which site is closer to the rally and auto-X?

We'll make this happen despite Dane's "oh let me do this, I've done it for the Ferrari club" neglegence......
