Well the TurboXS UTEC came through today with a personal best of 12.70 @ 107MPH (stg4+)

I was called out of line to race Georges Laraque from the Edmonton Oilers NHL hockey team in his BMW Z8. I beat him with a 12.8. :D :D

Check out the video--->http://24.79.147.167/subaru/jason_vs_george.mpg

George is the nicest guy you'll ever meet. He was probably thinking, "HOLY POOP! And half as much as my car!"

Good on ya, Jason. Keep it up.

A little updated you may find amusing on this topic. From a very reliable source after this loss, Goerge L. has shipped his car to the BMW aftermarket devision (I think it is in Texas) to pu $31 000 US worth of upgrades into........guess he didnt like loosing to a wagon. Oh and the price of his car new was $220 000 CDN.

Not a bad kill for a $40 000 subie hey

He seems to be quite a humble person...but I don't really know him to say for sure. At the time I chatted with him he was so busy I don't think he remembered which car I was in.

Either way, it was a great race. Nice to get it on video!! :D :D

Very nice run!

Could you list your mods please?

You should mention that George is a very nice person OFF ICE!

Can't download the video for some reason. Would really like to see that race. Kind of off the topic, but there was a guy who kept his baby seat in his car at the autocrosses, just to let guys know they were beat by the family car.

I used to do this to but not on an Autocross. ;) Sometimes I'd still have some grocerys in the back. No kidding!

Yes Kevin. Being stomped a mudhole by your OBS would be a humbling experience for anyone, especially that it is an automatic! Do you still have it modded or have you brought it back to stock form? I've tried everything to save this video, but still can't see it. Somebody do something!;)
