View Full Version : Any new info on the Cobb vs. ASR quarter mile duel? King Ding187 06-07-2001, 08:59 PM like it says above, is this actually goin down? I remember reading about it in the turbo forum a little while back, and was just wondering if there were any new developments. King Ding187 06-07-2001, 09:38 PM anyone else find this interesting?...... ttt  Ethan 06-07-2001, 09:49 PM Nope :) 8Complex 06-07-2001, 10:16 PM It's doubtful. Both of them seem perfectly capable of building 1000hp beasts, but it's the money and time constraint that would stop it. Plus Cobb doesn't have an actualy 'kit' to bolt on, so no matter what, it'd have to be custom (so why not go nuts?). Bankheist 06-07-2001, 10:24 PM if it goes down.. it will be here in texas Digital_Boy 06-07-2001, 10:29 PM Well, given the state of affairs that prevailed for the last month plus with Alan's turbo group buy, he's going to put off going to Texas for the present. Not giving up entirely, just getting affairs squared away at home first, then going to have fun in TX. I believe it will happen, this year probably, but not in June. King Ding187 06-08-2001, 11:50 AM so, anyone know what they're doing with the 500+ hp ASR engine for now? |
