Inst. Clusters $433.86 (in MPH and will fit 02+ WRX)

Will there be any warranty problems if the dealer records the millege off the old one?

The gauge cluster does reset to zero. The cluster stores the mileage, not the computer. Technically it isn't really kosher without reporting it. I'm offering these for use in off-road only situations. Please check with your local DMV for more information.

So is this true that if the dealer installs the gauges then it wont void any type of warranty? and can they actually set the clock to match yours? That seems kind of doubtful

The instrument clusters that I'm offering are STi units and do fit the 02 model WRX. You will need to clip the ambient air temp wires so it doesn't short your stereo out. We found this out recently and on accident. Imagine that.
Shift light. Still not sure if it will work or not. Waiting to hear back from a customer on this. I don't have anymore so I can't figure this out myself.
They are 'blacked out'. Needles do the full sweep when the car is powered on.
The clusters will not read the correct mileage as it is stored in the cluster, not the computer. You must report the mileage discrepancy to your local DMV for this to be legal. I am seeling these for off-road use only.

I am currently out of stock, but have more coming in right now.

Winglets are the bumps on the sides of the bumpers. They do require 3holes to be drilled for clips. Add a neat look to the standard WRX.

The silver skirts are the same silver. Yes.

Carpet is all blue.

Headlights are US model lights. I'll plug one into a car today and work out any issues that I come up with. The motors should all be there. They will require the switch to work. I'll check on that as well.

Working on the cluster issues with Gil and another member. Hopefully this gets sorted right away.

I can't believe I forgot to put a price for the scoops. Whoops.
$119.96, not painted. Plus shipping (tax if in CA).

The switch for the headlight level is $35.42. It will work if you wire it in and have headlights with motors on them.

The carpet would need some big tweeks to fit in an older model car (93-01). The floor pans are very different. The 02-04 Impreza should be a direct fit. I'm not 100% sure as to extra holes, though I'll take a look. We're installing one in a friends car, but I've not gotten around to checking it out.

Cheers,

Ryan

Irvine Subaru: You said ...

"The winglets on the STi are attached and not molded in. These are the same parts."

Just drove by the dealer and there was a new STI there that just came off the truck ... The winglets ARE molded in the front bumper of the STI. I thought they were the same bumper pieces and the STI had the winglets attached. It actually is a different bumper piece where the WRX goes all the way across the front with a notch on the side and the STI only goes as far as the grill and has the winglet molded in. That doesn't mean the winglet won't work and look good ... just that they are a little different.

edit: Since I wrote the above a spoke with a gentleman who told me that outside the US the winglets are not molded in on the STI ...

That is a SUPER price!! My buddy who works at a Honda dealer said he could get it at his cost which was $115. Not making much money off it are you?

My question needs some research though. I want the scoop and the factory OEM splitter for it. The local Subaru parts guy is new and an idiot, so ***I*** had to look up the diagram on his computer for him. From what I could tell, the part number was 90817FE180, but I may be wrong. Is this the correct part number for the splitter? Does it fit right into the hoodscoop assembly? From looking into the scoop of an actual STi, it looks like it pops right into the scoop, but want to be sure. Please advise on scoop & splitter cost to zip code 23454.

Irvine Subaru
06-23-2003, 01:39 PM
PM me the postal code for Manitoba.

The door stickers are the 'STI Subaru Technica International' stickers that go on the outside of the door. If you want all the blue inserts you have to purchase the entire door panel. Not cheap.

REDO - I'll e-mail back to you this morning/early afternoon.

I just went outside where I saw an STi this morning. It's not there anymore. Ack! I wanted to double check the winglets also. In the catalog they are shown as NOT being moulded in. Hopefully something comes by today so I can check that once again.

The metal part of the splitter is $74.50. Rubber part is $32.70. The splitter will fit right in with the scoop.

STi winglets...

I just picked mine up. THEY ARE NOT MOLDED. Now I need to attach them. all the hole for the bottom and wheel well are in the existing bumper already, but you have to cut 3 little notches in the top "seam" where the top of the splitter goes. There isn't a seam there really, but it looks like it. This is not a problem. You do have to drill 3 holes just behind the fog lamp though for 3 little plastic things. These do come off the splitter so I am going to remove these and see what happens without then...

Later,
Ben

I installed STi side skirts on a friend's '04 WRX, then took the WRX side skirts and compared them to mine. All the holes lined up. The skirts don't come with the little rubber splitter-like device that goes in front of the wheels though. I don't know if those are important or not, probably not too critical.

I traded in my '03 wrx for an '04, and swapped off my '03 painted sideskirts and put them on the '04.

Fitment was perfect, but the '04 has what looks like a little rubber mud flap that fastens with the rearmost clip of the sideskirts. It's a separate piece and not actually part of the skirts and they should clip on fine without them.

I realize this is a minor item. I have seen several posts with pictures of a single DIN storage tray with a door that matches the STi trim. I will be putting a single DIN stereo head unit in my STi and think this looks better than staring at my junk. Apparently they are an OE part on Forresters. One post indicated the part # was 66128SA040 and said they were selling at subaruparts.com for $18.68. I have not been able to locate them on that site or elsewhere. I would like to find one (to use until I decide to fill that spot with a secs monitor :) ). Any chance you could locate this part?
