Three times yesterday I narrowly averted getting hit by envious drivers of lesser cars. (Ultimate driving machine? Not if your face is in your purse as you take that left handed turn!)
And last night I was rear-ended.
Fun fun fun.

http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/eek.gif Sorry to hear about your SVX, that really sucks!
While we are on the topic of exhaust upgrades though... Which do you guys like better? The KC kit? Stebro? something else I have yet to see?

Bumper and exhuast took all the damage.
Bumper will probably be repainted, but I think I can convince his company that it is cheaper to upgrade my exhaus than it is to replace with OEM. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smile.gif

I have yet to hear the KC.. I've heard jeff and marc's stebro exhausts, and they sound killer... like a maserati or something.
Exhaust on a subaru is probibly not going to buy you any horsepower.. I'd love to see someone dyno these, but that's not likely.

On the subject of exhuast and finding HP, I disagree. The stock exhaust system on the SVX is designed to minimize noise. A stock (well tuned) SVX is so silent at idle that you cannot tell it is running unless you look at the gauges. It is unlikely that the optimal design for muting the exhaust is also the optimal design for maximum flow efficiency. It is quite likely that by switching to a 'not so quiet' exhuast you could free up some HP. Even if it is only a 5% increase, that is still more than 11hp over stock.
(Rumor has it that the design of the SVX muffler was outsourced to an order of monks who had taken a vow of silence)
