I'm 6'1" and around 270lbs.. any big guys out there driving WRXs? How's the head and leg room for the driver?

Your really not much bigger than I am, except you have about 25lbs on me and I fit fine in my RS.

Leg room is great, and I still have a couple of fists of headroom above me.

Seats are also very comfy for us big guys. And if you are comparing to a WRX, it's bigger inside than my RS and the seats are more supportive.
(as well as height adjustable). You shouldn't have a problem with any impreza.

Great! Thanks for the info... I'm currently trying to set up a test drive in a manual.

I am 6'3" and 230lbs, and my new REX is very comfortable. I'd say it fits like a glove, and I am in love! http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/smile.gif

Plenty of leg and headroom (I'm 6'2"). The only thing I'd be concerned about is the seats. Because of the generous bolstering, big guys may have a little trouble feeling comfortable, but go check one out and see how it fits.

I'm 6'1" and 202lbs and it fits me great, but I would definetly say that I'm glad I don't weight much more than I do, as I like to drive with my legs apart a little and could see the thigh bolsters as being annoying if I was bigger.
Hope you like it

The seat bolsters on the seat cushion can be spread outward slightly giving more room. I've also looked into having an upholstry shop redo the seat bottom by trimming down the side bolsters inside the seat cushion to make them even with the main seat cushion surface. Won't be able to do this for a couple of weeks. I'll let you know if I do this and how it works out. I'll probably look at trying it myself before I pay to have someone do it for me.

6'5", #250, 36"x36". I love the way the WRX fits me. I can lower the seat and put it back far enough. It fits like it was made for me then. I just can't wait til its mine!!!

I stuck my dad in one to check... Hes 6'2" and 225... He put the seat back and his legs were almost perfectly straight and had about 6 inches of head room! LOTS of room in this car!
