hi all, i need help installing a pair of GC8 L bumper fog lights into my 98 impreza OBS. All i got are the fog lights, its base, and that black plastic casing.....
I dont have the rest of the wiring and switch, and I want to try install them myself.......what do I need? how can it be done? is that possible not using OEM parts to complete the installation?
I dont have whole lot of electrical stuff experience all I have tried were installing white face gauges and voltmeter. They r relativly easy compare to fog lights I guess.
any help is greatly appreiated.......thanks

not converstions
do you want a "factory" look
order the switch from your local dealer or subaruparts/alike
you will also need a relay most auto part stors should be able to set you up with a "kit" for a fog light install .. you then need to find the wire for the head lights so that they come on at the same time ...

I see.....thankx, however I really dont want to order anything from dealer, Im in Canada and they are major rippers.....for example order a window handle for 50$ etc......
I dont really care if it is the exact same as stock, i can buy a simple switch and drill it into place anyway....
I guess everything can be done by some simple parts from electrical stores, and I really really want to do everything myself this way can get me know my beloved subaru more......
