1/4mile 14.2sec at 93.6mph.
70mph-0 braking- 165ft.

Its cool too that my other car is reviewed right before the REX. (Grand Am GT1) In that review they refer to the GAGT1 as one of the twenty best cars they have ever tested for braking from 70mph. I have heard similiar praise from Motor Trend about the GAGT1. Now the GAGT1 took 162ft from 70mph. Whats the WRX, the 21st best car they ever tested? To me, statistically speaking 3ft is not significant enough to prove one is better than the other. Statistically if you were to sample 30 runs of each from 70mph you would probably find that they average very close to one another. Thus, one can say that the WRX has very good braking, and that was all tested with the 16" wheels and tires. Perhaps they have gotten better test results from a more thoroughly broke in car than other mags....maybe a more accurate look at what the WRX can do.....

I've only seen this mag in Shop Rite and Target stores. I didn't have much respect for it - until now. Sounds like its one for my WRX home archive.

and this for our U.S. spec WRX? sweeeeet, but that is a REALLY low trap speed for a 14.2 run.

Yet another good review about the WRX...good stuff...I'm curious about the GAGT (since I own one). What else did they say about it other than the good braking? I own one (at least until my WRX comes in) and I like reading about it?

They spoke very highly of the GAGT. They basically said it was just right in performance when compared to the GASE. Kinda like comparing GP and a GP GTP, or a Firebird and a T/A. They wrote that it competed with: Altima, Cougar, Accord, and Integra. Thats pretty good company. In accelerarion they got 0-60 in 7.6 and the 1/4 in 15.9. This they put in the company of Aurora, Monte Carlo SS, Miata and Lincoln LS. Another good comparison. And of course the braking ios world class and they compared that to: Firebird Trans Am, Jaguar XJR!, MR2, Miata, and Merecedes CL500. Again pretty good company. It was a really good review. I have a GAGT1 and a WRX and they tested them back to back, that is luck, it will never happen again. Kinda like that poor bird in that one baseball game, anybody see that? Owe.......100mph fastball right to the head.....daaaammmm....

There is a Super Safe Red Volvo on the cover. Check out its a-pillar, that be nice on the WRX for those hard turns that are coming up that you just can t see right because of the a-pillar....
