This is the nice WRC spoiler. That Prodrive one is too square. It doesn't fit the design of the car.

I think that the old style WRC/V5/22B spoiler doesn't look good on the new Impreza. Doesn't fit right if you know what I mean.

Can we buy the WRC spoiler? How much?

The wing on the blue rally car is it a 22B
spoiler? If it is that is the one I want.
The Prodrive wing is nice but I llike this one better.

It does not appear to be a 22b spoiler. It looks as if it is set off and curled under. The side looks the same but not the middle.

IMHO, I'm not a big fan of the stock wing on the WRX sedan. Could you guys post other options for the sedan. Is a prodrive wing going to be available, like the one on the rally car?

There have been a couple of spoiler discussions in past weeks. I also am not a fan of the new wing. I like the look of the current RS Sedan winglet. I have seen pictures, from Germany best as I can tell, of a similar style on the New Age WRX. I have no idea where to get one. I'd post a photo, if I only knew how...

This is the PERFECT spoiler for the car! Seriously! Its not a freaking wing, and it PERFECTLY fixes that strange "lip" on the trunk!

I totally dig that spoiler... I'm not a big fan of large spoilers, but the only place I have seen that spoiler is on that German website. Anyone know where we could get the Spoiler in America? Please post...

Now that's a spoiler. Not too big, not overly flashy, but still fills that emptiness left over the trunk when there isn't one.

As I sit at work and run through what I would order then place on it afterwards I keep coming to the question of the spoiler. I don't like the stock one... and most aftermarkets ones don't appeal to me. If anyone knows who makes this particular wing and/or of similar wings I would like to know more about them.

An improvement to the stock spoiler is the set of pedestal extensions (carbon fiber) from Zero sports. You can see them on the iSR web site.

Since I took the picture, I'll contribute. If you want that spoiler, talk to Glenn Wallace or one of the UK guys. Maybe you can get a group buy going. I can also talk to my g/f about buying a bunch and bringing them over when she visits in March or summer.

Beyond that, your on your own.

I put in a call to the Southeast Rep and he is going to try to get that spoiler for us or at least see how we can get it. I'll post again when I have more info.

That's the only spoiler I've seen that I would put on my car. If anyone finds a source, I want one.

okay did a little search and this is what I found out. The spoiler is part of a limited edition factory body kit that is only given to a few dealers in germany the body kit is called the MIT tuning kit. Here is the translated page where I got the info.

The pic of the rear wing posted by Kostamojen on the German-spec (new-age) blue WRX looks very much like the standard Subaru wing that was fitted to the old-style (pre-WRX) European Impreza turbos. My old UK Impreza turbo (circa 1995) had one like that, minus the stop light.

Must be a sign of old age & the onset of senility.....

As my wife was reversing our '99 2.5 Legacy GT out of the drive last night, it suddenly struck me that the boot spoiler is exactly the same design as the one on the German-spec WRX...not sure whether the Legacy spoiler would fit the Impreza ?

I want one too...put me down for a group buy if it comes up!

I having my g/f ask a dealer about these wings. If I find anything out, I'll start another thread.

Hey there, I'm VERY interested in that "German" spoiler. I was thinking about finding the WRC wing but after seeing the picture posted above I would MUCH rather have this spoiler than the wing.

If a group buy starts up for this German WRX spoiler count me in.
