Fuquad 06-11-2003, 05:44 PM Originally posted by COwannago How much are you thinking of spending? And does it have to be a sedan? Nick C. ~ $13 - $15K, and yes it does have to be a sedan. Baby is on the way and need to get the wife a car. I have a WRX and she HAD a Civic HX (which we recently sold). Being a former RS owner, I'd really love to have another in the family (especially since I didn't get the chance to mod mine before I traded it in!). Not having any luck, though, so she is considering Jetta's and <vomit in mouth> Accord's. Someone help me out here! COwannago 06-11-2003, 06:33 PM Doh! Nick C. The Misses sounds like a keeper. ;) Fuquad 06-13-2003, 02:13 PM Originally posted by WTypeRogerX The Misses sounds like a keeper. ;) Indeed! :D ImprezaRS dot com 06-15-2003, 03:07 AM What would she say to me doing an auto tranny conversion to my almost 500hp RST since the 5MT wont hold the power (blew 3 of them since I turbo'd) ?? Fuquad 06-16-2003, 01:53 AM Well, she'd probably say something like "my husband isn't going to build me a car faster than his WRX, so no problem there." :D Yeah, I am pretty sure we won't be going to 500HP. Maybe 300HP, but no more than that. It's going to be a family car, for cripe's sake! As long as we can both pull 13's w/ a car seat in the back, we'll be fine. What about a full-dog box for your woes? ImprezaRS dot com 06-16-2003, 05:34 PM A full dog box wont replace the 5th gear, which I blew up with my ring and pinon (also stock) the last time, holing the tranny case in the process. It was a real mess... |
