I'll post the procedure now, and other stuff later. I have diagrams for location of test terminal and engine codes -- I'll post the URL's and attach them to this thread. Here's the procedure:

Start Engine, warm up engine, turn ignition switch OFF. Connect test terminal. Turn ignition switch ON (ignition off). Check engine light turns ON. Depress accelerator pedal completely and then return it to half-throttle position and hold it there for two seconds. Release accelerator pedal completely. Start engine. CHECK ENGINE light blinks to indicate vehicle specification code. IF the light blinks a code, drive the car at a speed greater than seven miles per hour for at least one minute. Warm up engine above 2,000 rpm (NOTE: this is straight from the manual, but, I think it means "rev" the engine above 2k rpm). Check if CHECK ENGINE light comes on. If so, turn ignition off, disconnect test mode terminal and read memory terminal and take appropriate action to correct trouble code indicated.
