my '95 svx 'bucks' http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/frown.gif in low speed turns and during decelaration from driving speeds to parking lot speeds. not when cold, but after warming up.

the dealer was no help http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/frown.gif, but someone on yahoo provided me with a tsb that i hope will give the dealer a clue to fix the problem http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smile.gif.

has anyone else had this problem, which i understand is common to all auto tranny awd subaru's, even though the dealer claims to have never heard of the problem?

Sounds like your drivetrain is binding. Sorry, but I don't recall what the fix was.

I am currently having the same problem, after Level 10 did my trans... check your trans codes, arejay posted them here, serach for "tansmission diagnostics". Run through the self test.

It will probably show code 24 which is the duty control solenoid C. If this is bad, it causes the trans to tranfer torque to the rear wheels, resulting in a binding / bucking in low speed turns.

Also, check your tire diameters, all four need to be the same diameter, tread, and pressure. If your tires are different diameters, the computer and ABS unit picks up that the tires are rotating at different speeds, making the computer think that one or more wheels are slipping. When that happens, the torque is transfered to the rear wheels, so that the wheels don't slip. In other words, its doing what its supposed to do.
