I was amazed at how easy it is to get into an Impreza. I locked my keys in my car and just grabbed a 3 ft. slim metal rod, slid it between the windows and seal and popped the switch for the power locks. The whole thing took about 10 seconds, no damage, and no fiddling with a jimmy. Granted ALL cars are pretty easy to get into via slim jim or rock, but for a hardtop auto the Impreza is ridculously easy to break into as long as there's no alarm and there are power locks.

My power locks broke a while ago, and I don't really care to fix them because of the above reason. Without the power locks it's a real stumper to get in.

no kidding, i locked myself out one time and manage to get in in under 30 sec. just using a metal yard ruler tape and a little hook. doh!:eek:
