I'm working with the manufacturer to bring them in. I've asked for 40 sets. They're letting me know when I can have them and how much. If I can sell all 40, I'll sell them very close to cost. The shouldn't be expensive either way.

I placed an order for 75 sets and now all they have to do is tell me how much. I did manage to get a timeframe and they said approximately 10 weeks. I've been calling them every day, so far that's all I've got.

Sorry guys. Still working in the manufacturer to get more information. They don't just want to send the sets to me. Apparently they have to see for themselves before they'll actually send what I ordered and told them I'd pay for. Stupid. Frustrating. However, I'm working it out. Thank you for being patient.

Here is what is going on. This is happening. I'm just having some problems with the manufacturer.

I've spoken with them four times in the last two days. They keep saying they are waiting for samples to come in before they can order my covers. I've explained over and over and over that I'm not interested, I just want the covers sent. So far, they say "ok, no problem", but that's as far as it gets. I've been assured they will call me back today with an ETA. The order has been placed. These will arrive. I'm not taking anyones money yet.

The Covers are easy to mount, takes about 15 mins and you use simple tools.

2004 headlight covers are relatively easy to get. I just received 2 sets from Australia. I got them through United Motors in Adelaide, South Australia (www.unitedmotors.com.au). Contact Shaun Spargo - he is the Parts manager. His e-mail is shauns@unitedmotors.com.au . I made all arrangements via e-mail with Shaun and then I called him with my credit card information (they don't offer on-line ordering). The part number is SA-1062. The covers list for $63.20 Australian, which is about $45 US. Shipping to Connecticut & tax for 2 sets was about $56 US. That's about $145 for 2 sets! I just couldn't bring myself to pay $125 for a set on e-bay.

This should be all the info someone needs to perform the group buy. For reference, Shaun estimated that the shipping charge would be about the same for up to 5 sets of covers.

lstepnio is a GREAT seller. we are batteling with UPS over a broken cover, clearly not his fault. the package was very well packed. he is taking care of everything, and is very very good to work with over this matter. when i saw that it was broke i was sure i was going to get screwed, quite the opposite, he is GREAT.
