when i respond to a pm it gets deleted automaticly... why????

I have sent Nick a PM on that. I must be able to keep my PM's.

Here is a helpful little bit:
Send reply: sending a reply will send the entire private message back to the person you are responding to. This also means that the private message will no longer be available to you. All private messages only have one owner at any given time.

So if you want to keep it, you have to send back a new message, not a reply.

Yes, if you need to keep the original PM, cut and paste the text into a new PM, then send the new PM as the reply.

just trying to reduce the space/load on the server... many never EVER deleted their pm's ever... that's too much garbage floatin about....

Well, I know they're still working on it...but those/my PM's are needed....Only limit the quantity "floating around" if they want to save space on the server.....

The old system would keep up to 200 per user - 100 in, 100 out, and automatically delete afterward.

The new is set to 60, you can't get to sent messages, and it is really hard to send one to someone.

My guess is that it is designed to discourage the use of pm's.

I hope they fix it
