Hey does anyone know about those "cosmo" air filters that replace the box and filter but keep the stick intake? Are they ok to use?

I've had an old Turn3 intake on mine for years, it's the first intake ever made for USDM Subies, 98 specific. It's a good intake, it keeps the torques box and stock tubing leading to the MAF, but then plants a nice cone filter with an air-flow funnel thing onto the end of the MAF with a heat shield that bolts between. Not true cold air intake though.
For a real CAI for MY98's, check out the Injen intake specifically for MY98's, it's what I replaced my Turn3 with and I really like it. Also, I had a very good experience dealing with their company.
