STI4ME 07-02-2003, 12:35 PM Congrats and good luck to a new vendor! ;)
SpeedAbsolute is great to deal with!
SpeedAbsolute 07-02-2003, 01:03 PM thank you STI4ME!
For those unfamiliar with PDE, their products are extremely high quality - construction, fit and performance.
PDE conducts extensive long-term real-world testing of their products on rally cars and street cars, as well as dyno/flow/pressure testing. TIG welded inside and out, perfect fitment everytime, there are reasons they designed their products the way they did - you will be impressed!
Please let me know if you have any questions!

edit: almost forgot ... just say NO to check engine lights! PDE products will not throw a CEL and you don't have to use an electronic fix! Factory sensors remain intact!
Sean Silva 07-02-2003, 08:30 PM Hey SpeedAbsolute! Good to see a new honest face on the site. Looks like you've got some nice stuff going on. I'll pass on the news to those who might be interested. I like your price for the 18s!:)
bbbwrx 07-02-2003, 08:57 PM Can you get a price on some 17 X 7.5 rota SDR's in bronze?
BEN:disco:
AnimalMother 07-02-2003, 09:44 PM bbbwrx - thank you for posting. I don't have any SDR's in stock but can certainly check with my distributor first thing tomorrow morning. Pricing would be the same as Rota Actions, $650 shipped including new lugnuts!
If you are interested in some used bronze SDRs, I might possibly take the wheels off my personal car - currently have Kumho 712's on there with about 7000 daily driver miles.
Please email me if you have other questions! Thanks!

Matt
Duffman1 07-03-2003, 09:15 PM I'm loving the PDE downpipe! Fit was perfect, beautiful welds, no leaks and no CEL's:D.

But I thought the rota actions are $600 shipped:confused:
I was wondering, I know the SDR's come in steel grey but do they make them in gunmetal? If so I'm interested.

Sweet! Thanks again Speedabsolute, can't wait to get that puppy installed. I'm very impressed with PDE's line of products. It's just a shame that something that looks that good has to go where I'll never see it. Maybe I'll rig up a series of mirrors so I can show off that work of art when I pop the hood at auto-x:D !
SpeedAbsolute 07-07-2003, 12:37 AM 3.5 hours to go for this sale!
Duffman1 put in that PDE flex uppipe yesterday and it was a breeze - no problems whatsoever. Catless with a straight pipe is LOUD and FAST!!!

Boozted 07-07-2003, 03:49 AM Does the PDE flex uppipe have any egt fittings? Sorry I am ignorant to this piece.

Does the PDE flex uppipe have any egt fittings? Sorry I am ignorant to this piece. Boozted, yes the PDE flex uppipe (and also the solid uppipe) does have an EGT bung just like the factory uppipe. As an added plus, PDE repositioned the bung (turned it towards the passenger wheelwell) to make it easier to put the EGT probe in place. I assisted with an install yesterday and it was a piece of cake to add the probe after the uppipe was installed!
Please let me know if you have any other questions!

I took this pic in the sun so you could get a better idea of the color - flat black is difficult to photograph! Let me know if I can help you out with anything!

Blue_sooby1 07-08-2003, 05:14 AM Just paypal'd you for a PDE flex up pipe. I can't wait to get it although I don't think I will install until I get the remainder of my exhaust so I can feel a larger jump in hp and work on the car fewer times.
thanks, Brian
SpeedAbsolute 07-08-2003, 12:28 PM Blue_sooby1 I received your payment - the PDE flex uppipe will go out today and I will email you your tracking info! Thank you for your order!

Matt
sales@speedabsolute.com mav1c, the Actions clear the StopTech template with tons of room to spare - much more room than the 17" Subzero for example. You can certainly return them if you aren't satisfied - I think you will be happy with my return policy: http://speedabsolute.com/policies.php.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you!

Wagon Joe 08-28-2003, 05:42 PM Hey Matt,
Get any more of those PDE downpipes in stock? I love my flex uppipe, and I'm starting to get the mod bug. As soon as I have the extra cash, I want to go stealth-back with my Prodrive muffler and get the Cobb stage 2 reflash. That should satisfy my hunger for now.... then, an Exedy clutch and flywheel. :D

Seriously though, I do have them and they are awesome. Duffman1 on this board has the PDE flex up, PDE down, straight-pipe axle back, and COBB stage 2 - it is an sweet combination (although VERY loud). I imagine it will be very nice with your Prodrive.
Please let me know if I can help you out with anything!

Wagon Joe 08-29-2003, 02:10 PM don't have the cash just yet... but I will buy it from you when I do. I read on your site that the PDE downpipe doesn't cause a CEL... I was wondering why it doesn't, and how is the rear O2 sensor relocated? Is there a resistor fix, because I heard those don't work for the MY04s.
Thanks,
Joe

Joe I would be happy to assist you again - just let me know when you are ready!
In regards to the CEL fix, no resistor is needed and it is best explained by a picture:
