Am i the only one that has serious trouble going the speed limit with my wrx?? I'll be driving down the beltway, minding my own business, and all of a sudden i'll be doing 85.. It could be because my other street car is a fully prepared racecar that lets you know when it's going over 60, but the rex is soo smooth that if i don't look at the speedo more often, i'll end up with a pocket full of tickets. Anyone else notice this?

yeah...i was telling my friends the same thing, i need to get an exhaust on this thing..even with the cdplayer in 5 or 6, with the bass at 0 , treb at 5, i cant hear the engine!! http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/mad.gif http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/lol.gif
And its very easy to speed without even noticing, since its so smooth and quiet...

85 certainly seems to be the sweet spot in 5th.....!
And did you notice that 4000 RPM in 5th is about 96MPH!!!!!!!

I agree.
The first thing I told my wife after my first drive was: We WILL be getting a ticket in this car.
I live on a windy canyon road, where the speed limit varies from 15mph->45mph. I usually go 35->45. On my first trip down the canyon, I came up on some cars going slower. 'Goobers', I thought. Then I looked down at the speedo and I was going 65mph!

i also have a harder time shifting at the right point, because i'm so used to listening to the enormously loud exhaust through the uncovered echoing floor boards of my zx2.. so not only do i have to keep my eye on the speedo these first few weeks of ownership, but the tach as well!
