Did you guys have any of the complex lense GC lights? Also, have you been able to find any protective shields for them so the glass won't get cracked?

Come on man....I was at your store two days ago, and you wouldn't budge on the 529.99 price, nor would you even get up from your computer to talk to me. I drove like 250 miles to get down there, and now here you are selling them for 499 shipped. You wouldn't even had to have shipped them. My friend is still down there, and he can pick them up....If you still want to do business with me, I can save you the shipping, so PM me as soon as possible, because my friend is coming back up here to albany on monday.

You asked me to do the Group Buy price, and I said no....the conversation did not go past that point. As for you coming down, I apologize for not taking more time with you, but you came at the end of a very busy day, when I was trying to get a variety of things done in order to go home.

We only have the WRX units still available....the Legacy units are special order only. As of right now we have just 1 set of WRX lioghts left available from this stocking order, so the first payed order will get them...we will be in the office tomorrow from around noon until 5 pm EST.

Eric - emailed you back

Adam - Do you stock the GC Morrettes or are they special order items like the Legacy ones??? What's the difference between the "complex" lenses and "normal" ones???

We usually have a few sets on hand, but all ours were sent to customers last week.....would be end of the month till we see more.

The complex kit uses an H1 main bulb, standard kit uses an H4. Morette claims a 30-40% increase in output from the complex, though having installed both side by side, I did not find it was a dramatic difference, though most people still opt for the Complex version

What is the price difference with the standard vs complex morettes for the GC8?

Also do you offer HID kits for the morettes, for both high and low beams?

Thanks
Benson

complex kit is $499.99, standard lense kit is $429.99

Yes, we can offer you HID for either of the above kits. Since Morettes use a seperate lense/bulb for the high beam/main beam, you would need 2 HID kit to make both ork in HID.

I already have a set of morettes for my 02' WRX. What kind of HID options and prices can you offer shipped to Hawaii...9821 (low beam kits)

Ok, sorry then, but I guess we had miscommunicated, because I was wondering more if the price had been flexible or not. I guess its not really something I need now anyways. Keep me in mind when you get more STi pink bits in stock. :)

For HID, we generally offer the K2 kits, 7000 kelvin, and offered in supewhite or purple bulb hues. Price is $450 + shipping.

We also can offer many of the JDM spec HID systems, which are nice becuase they are the 4300 kelvins (best overall light output). Both Catz ($599 per system) and Bell'off ($999) offer such systems, and both are of the highest quality I have ever seen.

Mike - the STi lateral links and trailing arms are always spoken for by the time they arrive, so if you want a pair/set, please call or Paypal an order with us so we can get it taken care of. Lead time right now is 4 weeks.

Adam - I just received my Morettes but there is no install instruction or invoice.

Can you re-send the invoice to me?

Does anyone has the installation instruction? There are a few wires I'm not sure what to do with them. I can guess which goes to which but I don't want to risk my $500 investment.

thanks in advance.

I think the pos(+) goes to the positive of the battery and the neg(-) goes to the negative of the bettary.
A connects to a and
B connects to b.

Can somebody confirm this?

thanks

Concerning the wiring diagram on the morettes. Are those connections were correct? The only connection I'm not sure about is the other wire (looks like a ground) that doesn't have a fuse on it. Does that one connect to the negative terminal like shown in the diagram? Or do I just hook that up as a ground anywhere?

Mulder

Yes, the two wires with ring terminals connect to the battery. The fused one is positive, the other is negative. Battery negative and chassis ground are basically the same thing but a direct battery connection is best.
The other long wires from the driver side light (with male and female spade terminals) connect to their mating connections on the passenger side light. Don't try to match wire colors, they will be different. Just match connectors.

BTW. how to change the light bulb on these? I tried to twist/pull and no luck but I didn't do any hard pulling/twisting at all. I don't want to do it wrong and break stuff.

Just an FYI, as I see you have a '96...if you don't have the hood, bumper, grille already from the '98 or newer (assuming US), the lights won't fit.

Adam

Bumper shouldn't matter, RS hood is installed on the car, and RS grill is sitting in my living room since it won't fit between the MY96 headlights.

I just installed my Morettes but the grill doesn't lock on to the Morettes.

When you put the front grill back, there are 4 clips on top and 2 in the bottom. The top four is fine but the bottom 2 is inserted to the Morettes and they didn't "click". I pushed all the way in but still couldn't "click". Seems like the little hold for the clips are just a bit too small or off. I'll try to sand it to make it a bit bigger and see if it helps.

I wonder if there is anyone else having the same problem.

thanks

do you have any in yet for 04 wrx, any pics????????

Z1 Performance

Morette does have one that is newly released, but we are awaiting the specs on it, to see if it is plug and play with the US car, and to ensure it is a LHD version.
