Subie Gal 07-07-2003, 07:42 PM i had an OEM Forester oil cooler on my 99 GT... worked great!!!! be warned.. ;) not cheap!! :) http://home.att.net/~d_teague/Imprezaparts/oilcoolerkit.jpg Jamie www.subiegalracing.com svxr8dr 07-07-2003, 07:45 PM Jamie, Later on this fall I'm planning on going with forced induction with the AVO kit from Sean at Rallitek, is the oil cooler in your opinion something I should do now or hold off on? What did you mean by not inexpensive, (currently sitting down):D Subie Gal 07-07-2003, 07:51 PM oh it's probably about $250-300ish..... and yeah i would think it's best to be safe than sorry eh? i would talk to others that have added a turbo kit to the 2.5 and see what they've done and what they recommend. Jamie IMPREZA619 07-08-2003, 03:24 AM i dont know if anyone did it to an rs yet but if you want to do some custom work you can buy a 1st generation Eclipse gst/gsx oil cooler. It is a pretty nice and beefy peice and some nissan dudes use it on their Ka-T. Mounting it behind the grill looks really mean on any car. You prolly can pic up one at a junkyard for 100$ or less. hope this helps:) |
