Let's try this out. The members section of NASIOC doesn't allow for a whole lot, so I figured we should toss together our own sort of Utah members directory. This can hopefully be a sticky "Official UTAH thread".

This thread would be useful in finding out who's subie you just passed or who just flew by you, who's car you keep passing on your way to work, or who locally has some of the mods you're considering that you want to check out. While a lot of us are cruising these forums too many times a day, I know there are a lot of other local guys that don't drop by that often. Hopefully this will help add a little more strength to our Utah subie community... er something.

The rules below are subject to change, PM or email me and i'll add any changes to THIS post for everyone else to check out... or we can discuss in another thread (long SLC thread works for me), that way this one stays clean.

RULES OF THIS THREAD:

1) Everyone gets ONLY ONE POST PER CAR. Use this thread as like a directory for checking out the local folks rides, comment via PMs, emails or other threads.

2) Post anything and everything about you or your car, photos are nice too.

3) Any off-topic or miscellaneous posts will be deleted. This is pretty much just a RMIC "Member Profile" page.

4) Check back regularly to see what everyone's updated on their ride, and to update the notes about your car, or re-organize your info into the same format as everyone else (if someone comes up with a nice clean format).

5) Um, i guess those aren't really rules, and i'm no moderator so I can't really enforce anything and don't care to... but lets see if this works out.

I like to race the 1/4 mile. Moslty legally but theres not always a legal race happening.
My best time ever is a 13.6 @ 99.3 MPH with a 1.86 60'
That run was witht the stock UP pipe at about 15 lbs boost.

Hey everyone! Finally getting around to throwing my Subaru information out there. No pics as of right now (Dec. 4th, 2003), I plan on doing some changes soon, so I'll upload those.

MY00 RS Sedan, Sedona Red

Mods By Previous Owner:
Powder coated RS wheels, center cap left silver.
STR Exhaust.
Shaved trunk without spoiler, badging, key entry.

Planned Mods:
The center cap will be powdercoated black (Where can I get this done in the Denver area? PM me with suggestions, thanks) and the RS wheels will become my autocrossing wheels.
Exhaust to be replaced with a custom one.
Trunk will be rebadged and spoiler put back on.
KYB Struts.

Modificatiosn Completed:
WRX Wheels mounted.
Exhaust replaced with 2.25" custom piping.
Trunk rebadged. (OEM Sedan spoiler at home, will contact body shop on 12/22/03)

Pictures will start popping up once I get the spoiler on.

Right now all of my other mods are up in the air. Part of me wants to save for a new generation WRX, or an EJ20 engine swap... so much up in the air. Right now, I want to learn how to drive my car very efficently.

My guess is the car is somewhere in the 2600-2650lbs dry. As far as HP numbers go it made 264WHP on 91 octane and 1.2bar of boost, and maxed out injectors, with STi injectos the numbers should go up to somewhere in the 280WHP range. Also running 1.3bar of boost i ran a 12.809 at 106.5 MPH at 4000FT.

Next on the list is coilovers, rollcage, 4pots and 2pot brakes, and more suspention stuff.

The car is a complete sleeper, and catches many people off guard. no one on the streets ever thinks that a wagon could be fast :P


Cobb track day was the 1st test for the car, and i couldnt have been happier with the resuts.

Hey
Just got this last month and sold my civic type-r b16b swap. I'd done alot to that car and loved it but I'm happy to be out of the 'ricer' category lol.

I've only done aesthetic things so far. Tint, debadge, and some stereo equipment.

I want to really learn the car (and pay it off) before I start messing with it.
But my future planned mods will be exhaust,downpipe, access port.

I'm around UVSC and you'll see her parked infront of best buy most of the time. LFG for sunday drives etc.

Just picked up a 1997 Outback sport and so far have only upgraded the stereo:
4 channel amp with 10 inch sub, replaced stock speakers and put in a HD receiver.
