I bought a set of the Subaru rubber floor mats (PN J5010SS300) for my WRX. I took out the WRX floor mats and put these rubber ones with the deep channels in their place. The rubber mats work great with respect to catching/draining mud/snow from shoes, etc., but they have this tendency to creep toward the front of the car with a resulting bunching up beneath the pedals unless I reposition them every day.
Does any else have this problem?
The original WRX driver's side mat hooked onto a floor peg to prevent creep, whereas the rubber mat does not have any provision to utilize the floor peg.
Has anyone figured out a system to anchor the rubber mat from this peg?

My car also came with the rubber floormats. The dealership guys put them ontop of the stock floormats. This might be the solution you need. They stick pretty well to the stock floormats and cover them effectivly.

My car has posts to keep the floor mats in place. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/smile.gif
I put velcro on the bottom of my floor mats, just a tiny bit.
However, I used the wrong adhesive, and the velcro stuck far better to the 'carpet' on the RS than the floor mat. Next time I'll use a staple or something more positive, and maybe try to find a weaker velco knock-off. For now I'm back to it slipping around.
I also custom-cut the mat to fit perfectly, this restricts where it wants to go a lot. Consider cutting the mat so it goes over the hook.

Jon,
Yeah I got the same problem. You know how the stock driver's mat comes with a whole that attaches to that small floor post? I took a small piece of steel plate and drilled two wholes on it. One is secured to the rubber mat by nut and bolt, the other I pushed into the floor post. It works pretty well.

Hmmmmmmm......
The stock mats have two holes on the trailing edge, but only one post to locate, right?
Flip stock mat upside down, and locate on post using second hole.
Now underside of stock mat is exposed.
Will additional rubber mat be secured by all the little rubber fingers on the top (original underside) of the stock mat?

I've seen clips that have two long prongs on one end to stick into the carpet and then you clip your mat to those. No idea how they would look. Check stores like Wal-Mart or K-Mart if the idea intrests you.

I had the same problem.
I fixed it by attaching a piece of plex to the bottom of the mat with double sided tape, and some pop rivets.
I used a rubber grommet to hold the hole in the plex to the peg.
