Does anyone know where to get the female connector on the alternator where the alt on/charge indicator wires are located? Planning on putting in a replacement high-current alternator, and would prefer not to cut/splice the wires there, so was going to make an adaptor, using the female side of the connector, and plugging the existing cable in.

Just get a stock replacement that's been rewound to give you more amperage.

Rewound alternators in stock housings generally have a problem where at idle, the actually produce less power than the original. It was also more expensive to go this route. I have an alternator which is fine mounting and power wise, I just need to do the wiring.

Hence, I need the connector. So, back to the original question, anyone know a name for this connector or where to pick one up?
