Does anyone have these? What kind of struts are you using and how much do they cost? I need new struts and dont really have a lot of money to spend on them (about 350-400).

Ive got the 5-Zigen springs on my car. Running Version 5 STi struts w/ Cusco adjustable camber mounts. I really like em. On the stock struts, the car looks amazing. Really low. When I put the V5s on, the car was raised about a 1/4 inch all around.

5_Zigen springs make the car too bouncy,

The SPT/Eibach springs with KYBs is very nice.

STi/STi is nice as well.

I think I'm going to go Tein Coilover next.

depends on where you live i had the springs on my GM6 with ver.5 struts they are too low after ~15000 miles the strust were leaking due to the constant contact with the bump stop due to the bumpy roads

i would not buy them again

i have STI-RA springs and agx on my project gc2-8 they have been very good but not as low

Im not that concerned about ride quality, it doesnt matter to me that much. How much did you pay for the V 5 struts?

I have been running the 5Zigen Springs with Version 5 struts and STI mounts for the past 2 years (roughly 20K miles with no problems). At the time I picked up the struts for $276 shipped (from Sugar in I believe it was a Georgia dealership), don't think you will ever see them again for that price.

The ride can be a bit bouncy, especially on concrete highways (in PA they can't seem to get the seams to match), but the car settles very quickly. Much better than stock in all other conditions. The mounts made a noticable improvement in lessening the bounce effect and the ALK furthur improved the ride. Hopefully I can replace the rest of the suspension bushings soon.

The reason I went with the 5Zigen springs (2 years ago) was that they were the only ones available, and I did not like the feel of the eibach springs (felt soft), the h&r along with STI springs were back-ordered for months from everyone.

Hope this helps
