Where do you go from the bottom of the a pillar with the senders for mechanical guages? Also, is anyone running the Autometer a-pillar that goes over the factory a-pillar? It seems to me that the factory piece must be hacked for the wires to pass through to inside the dash. Am I correct?

You can get the wiring it without hacking the factory pilar. The wiring can just rin down to the bottom and sneak under from there. You do have to drill holes in it to attack the pod though, so your hacking it no matter what.

im using those $15 autometer cups and mounted 2 on the
a-pillar. i did need to drill several holes into it.

when im ready to sell the car, im just going to buy new/used
a-pillars and replace them. :)

not sure if this is valid for mechanical guages, but im running a thermocoupe through the grommet above the clutch to the intake to run my electronic guages.

Same grommet for the mechanical ones. Just make sure that you zip tie any wires/hoses out of the way of your pedals as this can cause your pedals not to go all the way down and/or a pinched hose.
