I just installed a Draw-Tite 24710 hitch on my WRX wagon and after I installed it I noticed that the 1 1/4" receiver is welded on crooked in relation to the hitch frame (and in relation to the car). It's not that bad, but I noticed it right away. Trying to decide if I should exchange it for another one. It wouldn't make a difference towing, but I don't want my bike rack to sit slightly to one side. I ordered it from E-trailer so I would have to deal with mailing it back, what a pain!

Is anyone elses Draw-tite hitch like that? I don't want to exchange it and the next one be the same.

I did manage to get the exhaust to hang fairly straight by reusing the hanger bracket even though the instructions tell you to bolt the hanger directly to the hitch. I had to use a chaff pad with this method though.

My Drawtite hitch is not crooked. It sits just fine on my wagon. I did drill another hole in the hitch for the exhaust hanger so it would hang lower. Otherwise it would bang up against my COBB exhaust. I also used some stiff exhaust hangers to keep it still.

My drawtite hitch was straight but the Thule rack I got was welded really crooked. I got another rack and it is a lot straighter. It is still slightly to one side, though. It does seem that the welds are not always accurate.
