Tim Quinn 07-21-2003, 03:29 PM $3,100 .....although that was about 50 dents, repaired body kit and a total paint job. So in other words, no I dont have a clue :p
Tim
Tim, you're on fire with the witty comments today! Keep it up, something interesting to read finally.
Benjamin Tang 07-21-2003, 04:46 PM i think it was $80 for the first one, $20 for everyone subsequent one after that done at the same time... but don't quote me on this.
i hope it's like a door ding because if it's a big dent they'll probably say no :(
Tim Quinn 07-21-2003, 05:15 PM Thanks Tora, when I get on "Star Search" I'll send you tickets ;)
4wheelflyer 07-21-2003, 07:37 PM specialty uses dents unlimited, I have heard good things about them, sadley Ive got larger dents to fix :furious:

i hope it's like a door ding because if it's a big dent they'll probably say no :( that sounds about right, I paid the same in kelowna at dentique. they did a great job, I could tell you where the dent used to be and you'd call me a liar...it's that good
Benjamin Tang 07-21-2003, 09:46 PM not trying to hijack this thread but what about paint repair? someone dented my dad's forester and i'm waiting for the next appointment at specialty to get it fixed while it's there, but the moron who dinged his car also chipped his paint deeply
i've tried making appointments with a place called colorworks, but they've stood me up 2 times now and they don't do weekends :(
bender 07-21-2003, 11:56 PM dents unlimited is really good. they have a mobile service, and I've watch them work
Petrie 07-22-2003, 12:24 PM Do all dents have to worked on from the inside (behind the dent)? I have some in the roof and I really don't want to have to take ALL the interior trim out just to get at them.

I have one dent in my C pillar (between rear left window and rear window) that they can't even fix because all the metal is built up there. all because some n00b golfer couldn't keep his/her ball on the course http://members.shaw.ca/alexs001/smilies/mad.gif
furthermore, taking inside trim off the C pillars is a major PITA.
Tim Quinn 07-22-2003, 04:19 PM MmMmmmm..... pita
Give me a call, and I can suggest a VERY good dent removal place that works mobile.
They did my 240 and my RX7 prior to Import Showoff.
He will also do a "group" dent fix party also to save on dent fixing.
PDM
Tricky 07-22-2003, 07:22 PM Dent fix party!!!
that is a Fan-FREAKING-tastic idea.
I've already got 5 dings from idiots who can't exit/ enter their cars properly.
I am so all over that idea!!!
OnlyKor.. 07-22-2003, 07:34 PM group dent fix?? i'm in... I"ve got about... 4..
alexs001 07-22-2003, 07:47 PM I would consider going in on a group-dent-fix if the price was right. :)

Benjamin Tang 07-23-2003, 12:44 AM i'm in... someone start a list?
You guys get the list going, I'll contact Dave, and maybe you can use the shop while you wait. (it doesn't take long at all)
He brings all his tools with him in his car, and sets up his lights to fine-inspect your car's finish.
If he does 3-4 cars in one location, it saves him a lot of time, so he can pass on those savings to you guys.
His work is awesome, as he probably saved me a few thousand dollars in bodywork and paint labour to get my cars fixed.
I just bought another S13 yesterday, and I'll have him take out the major dents prior to bodywork.
PDM
Great, let's start a list then :)
Benjamin Tang 07-23-2003, 04:26 AM just need to know when... if it's during the weekday i'm out because i have to work :(
Ovaltine 07-23-2003, 04:28 AM Also interested in dent repair... I have a friend that probably wants in too.
imprezaboi: ... weird... same thing with me... ONLY my passenger side gets nailed.

Thanks Don for your source:)
I just put up a list on the first post.
phenomenon 07-24-2003, 12:15 AM I might be interested. One question though...can they fix chipped paint? If they can't then i'll probably head to a bodyshop.
Clement 07-24-2003, 03:04 AM How much should we expect to pay per dent or per panel? I've got a few dents on my car. :o
sushi 07-24-2003, 03:39 AM i am imprezaboi's brother and i want in on this. i've got about a dozen dents on my 240 so this would really help
Rxwagon 07-24-2003, 04:30 AM Is this guy able to fix dents on aluminium hoods? (....damn rocks!)
If he can, I'm definitely in!
Benjamin Tang 07-27-2003, 11:17 AM so is this dead now?
You guys arrange it, then contact me off board.
I've got a call into Dave, just need some numbers (ie confirmed people) before we commit.
PDM
Dave at Dent Tech has been contacted, and notified.
It's up to YOU guys now to organize a day when you wish to proceed.
PDM
Tricky 07-28-2003, 02:24 PM Pick a Saturday! Like maybe the 9th?
August 9th is my vote.
I will not do it on weekends guys.
I'm doing this purely on my own time, and not making a dime.
You do it during work hours, or not at all.
PDM
Benjamin Tang 07-28-2003, 04:53 PM i'm out then... :(
Don,
Do you know how much he charge for each dent?
Thanks!
Alan

When I first got my car, I called Dents Unlimited myself, booked an appointment in the wee hour on a Saturday morning to get a loonie sized ding out of my front fender. I think I paid $80 or something like that to have it removed.
LaterZ!
Darren!!
sprayking 05-19-2006, 11:13 PM If you want that paint worked quoted and possibly repaired .. call me James 604.813.4130 I do mobile paint work I won't say whether I will do the job or not till I see it. I work in the surrey and maple ridge area's. I am sure we can hook up to take a look.
I see the dents unlimited guys all the time at dealerships. They are great guys and do amazing work!! I highly recommend that company.
UpTown I-TS 05-20-2006, 01:28 AM Alan, can you find out the pricing for it?. Big chance my brother and I are interested!.. really depends on the cost!
banman 05-20-2006, 02:07 AM I might be interested, too. Got about a quarter-sized dent in my front left quarter panel.
sprayking 05-20-2006, 02:55 AM If the dent doesnt have paint damage I recommend calling Dents Unlimited and having them repair the dent. If thier is paint damage to the dent I can most likely repair that.
Price all depends on the location of the damage, color of car - for instance if it's a solid color, mica/metallic or tri-coat. Fillers required etc.
A typical bumper corner scuff would cost around $125 to repaint and blend a metallic.
If you find your way to me I will quote the job for free and if I can't do it I can send ya in the direction of a good shop that can, and even give ya a ball park figure of what it should cost at a bodyshop.
