Is this possible since they are built off of the Impreza platform.

If you know whether or not the following parts will fit the same on the forester as the Impreza, please repsond... Or just let me know what you think of my idea.

2.0 WRX motor version 4 or better 5/6 & ECU
WRX tranny same version
STi 6 speed tranny (5/6)
Strut tower bars (Front and rear)
exahaust (too short right?)

Also would like to know what companies have apperance and suspension upgrades for the Forester..
I know SYMS and STi do, does CUSCO?

I'm thinking other than the drag CE and high roll center.. a forester could easily keep up with an RS at the Auto-X track, but a Turbo Forester would rule... Are there any in the US?

Also what could one expect to pay for a good used MY96-98 Forester 5 speed?

I'm starting to think that a sweetly tuned Forester would be nicer than an RS as can haul more stuff and handle almost as well.

The STi II Forester gets a EJ20 turbo along with:

- 225/45ZR17 tires
- Lowered suspension
- 4 pot 16" front disc brakes
- STi specific body moldings

I'd like more specifics like hp ratings, 0-60 times and what not.. I'd like to see a WRX engine and STi 6 speed tranny, along with better seats and coil-over suspension in the future.. if I decide to go at this dream.. more details will be held off until so it will be special.. if I decide to do it.

Does CUSCO make firmer rear springs for their coil-overs to fit the Forester??

must give me more info about this Forester II (other than what's on STi's site... can anyone read japanese??). I'm sturggling finding much of any aftermarket for the Forester other than STi and SYMS... and exhaust from scoobysport.

All help greatly appreciated.. I've also e-mail rallispec about it as I've heard they we building a N/A Forester beast?
