OK- I installed the Brospeed muffler as previously reported and got to test it on a road trip.
As mentioned before I did not want LOUD or drooney. Well it is very compatible with my needs/likes. It is barely louder than stock while cruising at speed but does give some positive sound under acceleration. About 600 miles per day at speeds up to 70+ gave me a pretty good test.
I also have a JC intake and this is far more agressive than the Brospeed-especially under hard acceration. For aggressive starts I usually start my AT in low range and use the tach as a reference for shifts. The noise created far exceeds the Brospeed but also quiets down at cruise.
As an aside I managed to throw my first CEL by trying to round off a tank fill. I personally think this is as big a culprit as now tightening the gas cap. Not enjoyable staring at that light glowing brightly. Thanks to these forums I recognized my error and at my night stop I reset via the battery cable pull.
Thats my story-sorry for being windy but wanted to let you know about the Brospeed results. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/smile.gif http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/wink.gif

Sounds nice. Thanks for the review. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/smile.gif

I would like to make our Forester sound a bit meaner, maybe this would be a good choice.
