Hello. I am new to the I-Club (thought it was only for Imprezas) but have been working on a Forester Info page for a while now. You can check it out at www.foresterperformance.fanspace.com (http://www.foresterperformance.fanspace.com) if you like. I am open for any suggestions if you think I shouold add / remove anything. I am still trying to learn about the Forester, and then put everything I learn there for everyone else...

I was wondering when someone would do a site like that for the Foresters! Good job; it gave me an idea of what's actually out there for the Forester. The photo gallery had some VERY nice stuffhttp://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/smile.gif

Great job there! Thanks for the great effort, you must have put lots of time into that site. It's definitely going into my bookmarks. Finally a page for the 4E* guys. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/biggrin.gif

Aces bud...you are doing a great job. I too have bookmarked your site.

Did you not have an alignment problem when you did the suspension? I see you plan adjustable pillow blocks for future mods.

Also consider fuel control if you go the head/cam route and how about an air intake to round that off.

Thanks for not only doing some pretty impressive mods , but for sharing them in such an impressive way!

To answer your question, Lakepop, I only had a problem in the rear. The rear is not adjustable for camber. Both rear wheels were about -1.5 degrees. Someone is supposed to be sending me a pair of cam bolts to replace the upper ones in the rear so that they will be adjustable.

However, I probably won't need them (much) since I had to raise the Forester a little using the Impreza RS Springs. Those Tein springs (meant to lower an Impreza 1.5") were so low in the Forester I was essentially just sitting on my bump stops.

Some day (when they are easier to get) I will probably change them to Tein Medium Springs. The ride now is too cushy. I want to carve apex's. Oh well, at least my wife is happy...

Nice site! It's good to know I'm not the only person with a bazooka strapped to the back of the seats http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/cool.gif

I haven't done any performance mods yet (like ever, to any car) but I'm planning on ordering larry ganz's intake soon to give that a shot.

Very nice site. How long did it take you to build it? I hope you can find & include some tips for us dirt road runners out here. Thanks for all your hard work.

Thanks again

Chuck

Well, since I don't do any dirt road bashing (south Florida dirt roads = deep mud) I really don't have any tips. If you know of any, or find any, let me know and I'll include them. Anything relevant that anyone thinks I should include, please e-mail it to me. I'll be happy to review and probably include it on the site. But, for know, I am only including what I have found, and that is pretty much what I have been interested (tarmac setups & high performance road-going Foresters). I will probably review these Forester posts in the near future for some of your past suggestions, with an eye toward updating my site. I try to get in and update it (if I have new info) at least once a week. Don't hesitate to contact me with suggestions, praise, or constructive criticsms. Just don't flame me, okay, I'm doing my best. =O)

I tried both links and nothing comes up. Can you re-check?

Is the ECU upgrade for the EJ25? How much is it?

I can safely say that John has what could be the greatest amount of Forester information available. We met a a mini-meet tonight and he has tons of stuff and it would probably take days to scan all of it.

I can certainly agree...the Forester is a force to be reckoned with when you see it in person. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/smile.gif
