View Full Version : fwd axles working with AWD tranny? scobaru 07-22-2003, 05:08 AM I'm going to be doing the swap and need to know if my fwd axles will work with my awd tranny my car is a 94 the awd tranny I'm getting is a 94. the awd swap doesn't include front axles because they were damaged soo Do i need awd front axles? or am I able to use my old ones. also does it matter if the axles are from a manual or auto? thanks Dan :disco: garface 07-22-2003, 02:00 PM Don't know the answer for sure, but I have some if you need them. stimpy 07-22-2003, 02:03 PM Axles _should_ work, regardless of transmission type. The FWD units are heavier though.
