Hello-
I'm trying to gather information on the Phase I DOHC 2.5 engined cars ('98 RS, Legacy and Forester) and would like your input. I'd like to put together a guide that we can use when repairing, modding, etc, our cars. I don't know what years the DOHC Phase I engine was in the Forester model, so please go here http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/Forum1/HTML/021620.html and post the info you have, as well as what mods you've done, repairs you've needed, etc. Anything that will inform other Phase I owners what to do/not to do to their cars.

Looks like you are the only one. Remember, there are only about 40 of us "Phat Subie" people in the i-club, and almost all of them have '00 or '01 models.

I actually have an RS, and was hoping there were a few sub-2K Forester owners out there... None??

Aside from myself, I know that juice owns a 98 Forester. Both the RS and Forester were introduced in MY98 so the "early adopters" may be far and few in between.

I've posted some of the warranty reparis I've had done to my powertrain on the General forum. Please let me know if you need any details on them.
