this is what I have on my RS (some parts are on order http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/rolleyes.gif ) . what I want to know is which parts will fit on a 2002 forester?

FHi clear corners (NA)
18mm sway bar
STi engine mounts
STi tranny mounts
underdrive Pulley
prodrive WR
trunk light http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/wink.gif
gutted intake (removed the crap in the fender, can it be done also on a forester?)
k & n filter
air horns
H.I.D.
RE730's
vent spacers (NA)
clear side markers (NA)
clear bumper lamps (NA)
de-badged trunk http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/wink.gif

on order and / or not installed...

rear strut bar (cusco 40mm)
front strut bar (cusco 40mm, blue)
FHi rear cluster (JDM) (NA)
brake MC support bracket
locking fuel door
front light weight bumper beam
rear light weight bumper beam
cusco V piece (strut bar support)("doubt it")

I know some parts won't fit or are non apiltacible ("doubt it" or NA), but which ones will?

one last question... does the forester and the 2.5RS share the same chassis?

thanks,

From what I have been able to determine, they do share the same chassis. But I believe that with the 2001 Forester, changes were made. I believe that the new 2002 RS and the 2001-2002 FOresters have more in common than your RS would. I'm not sure how many of the "interchangable mods" (for a 98-00 Forester) will actually fit on the 2002 models. I will be sure to ask about that this weekend at the Mastro meet...

Otherwise, if the '02 and '99 models are the same, (these are what I know fits the '98-'00 modelshttp://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/smile.gif

18mm anti-sway bar
front strut bar
pulley
enginge / tranny mounts
HID lights (if for H4)
air horns
brake support

the rest I am not sure about..

The 2002 Forester isn't going to be a major redesign (2003 will be) so it will be closer to the now older Impreza RS.

I'd add:

- Gutting the intake silencer
- K&N filter

to the list.
