Got my Kartboy shifter yesterday! I was amazed at how quickly it came in. Ordered it on Friday evening and it was on my doorstep when I got home last evening.

Overall, the shifter looks very well made -- nice and professional feel to it.

I'll try installing it sometime this week. I'll post results when I'm done.

Any other Forester owners have a short shifter?

There are 9 other photos in the album which you may find useful for the install. Mine is the SPT shift lever, removed from the shift kit (I used only the lever because the bushings were still rubber).

Installed the Kartboy last night. Oh man, what a huge difference! The overall shifter length is reduced by about 2". The shift feel is MUCH more firm and notchy. The throws are nice and short.

Actually, the shifter might be just a tad too short for us Forester owners. My hand is down at knee-level when I shift now. I'm wondering how I could lengthen it by a touch -- any ideas?
