I don't own a Forester, but my Impreza was in the shop and the loaner the dealer gave me was a '01 Forester. I'll have to say that I was really impressed with it. My friend who drives a huge F-150 4x4 was making fun of the "station wagon" as he called it! He was saying that it wouldn't go off-road. Well, I had to beg to differ... =) At the end of this night, him and another friend of mine have a new respect for Subaru's. hehe. Enjoy the pics.

Looks like fun. A loaner car, eh?

At least you cleaned it up nicely.

Mind if I copy some of the pics for my photo album?

Yup, I loved taking my old beater off road. I think I got into worse stuff than thay guy did, but thats mostly due to mine bieng a $1,800 POS instead of a $23K+ new car.

Notable things I've done is go down a forestservice raod that was abotu a decade before ment for access to fires. I had to fold a mirror in to make it past two trees, and when it became completely over grown I had to drive about 3ft up a small tree. (yes the front tires were in the air....)

Wait until the Foresters go for only a few thousand, order up a used Euro Dual range out of a base Legacy, and a 4" body lift. THEN school people how good subarus can be.

Check out this flying Forester, it looks like it's stock too. This is from an Aussie Subaru club site.
