This is what I am doing at the moment, I was jsut wondering if anyone knows how the two connectors on the clutch pedal lever can be wired into the car so that the car can eventually be started with the clutch depressed? I'm not sure why there are two clips?? Oh yeah......I have a 5MT pedal set from a 2000-01 RS.
I'm a little lost guys....help me out?
Cheers,

There's a wire on one of the transmission harnesses that is wired into the starter circuit that notifies the car that it is in park and/or neutral.
This wire will need to be shorted in order for the starter circuit to fire.
I just shorted it directly instead of making it dependent on the clutch pedal, so I can start the car without pressing in the clutch -- arguably a feature to help prevent axial load on the motor on a cold start.
Just takes a little more diligence to make sure you're not in gear when you start up. :D
