Hey guys,
I was wondering if there is anyway to make the utec go to the security map when you lock the car with the remote.
That way if someone breaks your window or something they can't start the car.
I guess you would need an override button somewhere just in case, but i still think it would be kinda cool for it to do that.

just get the remote switch and set it to map 7 before you get out of the car.

Isn't that sort of like saying to someone who wants remote keyless entry:

"You can just put the key in the lock and turn it"

While I doubt this kind of functionality could be done easily. It would be damn cool to automatically go into security mode whenever you locked the doors.

how about a relay in line with the switched power for the ECU ..

I do have the remote switch,
but if someone wants your car there gonna push every button to try to get the car to start.
What i meant for the override switch would be like under the seat or something, just in case your battery died on your remote or something like that.
