My power mods:
EcuTek
Upipe+TB+samco hoses

Thoughts on
1. why my knok correction drops down to 5?
2.why the advance multiplier is a static value?

Or anything else you notice or would like to coment on.

thanks
sav

ps. BIG kudos to forepont for hosting these pics for me.

The advance multiplier doesn't change much, and if you have not reset the ECU in a while it might have settled at its maximum value. I'm also asuming you are running a stock turbo and boost control because you can see the boost tapering down towards redline, and the knock correction is only following that trend.

Because you dont have the octane and or conditions to run more advance then then 5 at that point.

It rarely changes. You are knocking. If you where not knocking it would be at 16 which is max. Reset the ECU. Does it start at 16? If it does I know whos ECUtek that is

Seriously though. Its doing its job. Not alot of advance but I will guess its probably hot out and you are running crapy gas?

I dont see any issues.. Could be alot worse. Are you having problems? Missing power?

savka, I wouldn't at all be worried about it, but if you care to take the time and put forth the effort, you can determine what's causing the lower knock correction.

What have your ambient temperatures been lately?

On a cool night, if you drive around for 20 minutes and datalog at the end of the session, do you get the same results? Try datalogging at midnight outside of the city some night and see how things look.

There's really nothing "wrong" with what you're seeing in those logs. Something made them that way. If it's unacceptable to you, deal with the weather by getting a better radiator and cooling your air charge better.

Savka,

AC is right. The stock tmic get hot fast and you live in NYC so your not always getting the gas you pay for. Plus 90+ heat in our area is a killer for turbo cars. Even my car with a FMIC has a night and day feeling dorning the day and the night. Night being cooler the car just gets mean really fast.

94 from Sunoco is oxygnated (spelling) so your better off with 93 from Exxon or Shell. I always got poor milage from Sunoco 94 until I switched to Exxon 93. Same driving style and I got a good 50 more miles to the tank:banana: .
