Blessed news arrived at 5:48PM this afternoon. We'll be at the Port of
Anchorage for our July 27th, Solo II.

Should you be bringing a vehicle that DID NOT participate at the Solo II
School Weekend, please e-mail your license plate number (along with the
year, make, and model information) to licenseinfo@cherylbabbe.com tonight OR
before NOON on Friday) and I will get you "on-the-list"!

This is a privilege to be allowed use of this site, please show the guards
the utmost of respect when coming through the checkpoints. If your license
number is NOT on their list, you'll have to go through the security office
at the Port.

For those under 18 years of age, please REMEMBER to obtain your SCCA Minor
Waiver form and have both parents signatures (if they are not going to be
with you at registration) PRIOR to the event. They are available through Al
Mills, Pioneer Door, 6514 Greenwood, Anchorage, 350-6901, during business
hours Friday. For those in the Matanuska-Valley, contact Darin Minkler,
Matanuska Towing and Recovery, 745-5252.

Looks like alot of people will be missing out on this one...poor planning imho...

The port events are always last minute kind of things. That is the way they have to be because of all the new security and such.

I have not made it to a port event yet, and am looking forward to it. Maxx, are you going to make it to this one? If so want to meet up at a McD's for BK for breakfast?

probably not...i didn't email cheryl...and i'm in the middle of moving...probably moving some last minute stuff and then cleaning the old place sunday...and going to the meet for a bit...

Well the event today was a great Auto-X, awesome course. THere were 6 WRX's that showed up for this event, although it was a Camaro that had the best time.
