Hello i am looking for a basemap to look at with a vf-22. I am currently running vf-22, sti injectors, walbro fuel pump, utec, txs stealthback, perrin uppipe and aem cai. Does anyone have a map that i can take a look at. It is basically stg 4 but with a vf-22. Should i just start with the stg 4 basemap and work from there?
Thanks
justin

Yeah start with the stg.4 why not.. Just remember the differences between the VF30 and the VF22 and tune appropriatly. Study the map, see why it is like the way it is do some tuning and datalogging, make adjustments to one map at a time in small increments.

The fuel map and the ignition map are largely influenced by when the turbo spools up and how much boost it runs across the rpm range, so if the VF22 is spooling up alittle slower than the VF30 then maybe you can lean it out at certain rpms where the map might be adding in fuel for the Vf30 that already came on boost 500rpms earlier etc. etc.

If you think you are getting in over your head with the fuel map when roadtuning, take it to a dyno when you have time and use a wideband there is my advice. I see you live in CT, you can go to Pruven then.
