Can anyone tell me what combination of pins coincides with which map? I think I know which pins, just not sure of the combination or whether to pull them high or low. pins 6, 11, 12

I'm thinking its close to what I remember about those types of switches. 12 = 1, 11 = 2, 12&11 = 3, 6 = 4, 6&12 = 5, 6&11 = 6, 6,11&12 = 7 (binary). Only thing that is keeping me from just going out there and trying something is I don't know which way I need to tie the pins (+ or -) even though I know there isn't much of a chance of popping anything I'd still rather know for sure.

This might help:

When I installed my switch, I somehow managed to detach the brown wire. I can no longer get any odd numbered maps. It skips them, so I'll have map 2 in switch position 2 and 3, map 4 in position 4 and 5, etc...

That confims that it is binary.

The brown wire must be hooked up to pin 12 then as well. 12 is switch 1 (bit value 1) which without bit 1 you can't count odd numbers in the binary number system.

Brown = 12 = 1
????? = 11 = 2
????? = 6 = 4

From wrxhackers.com someone answered which direction it needs pulled (low or -).

Question answered. :)
