hey guys
i installed my forge bov without any problems. it's a 100% straight swap with the factory bov, except the lower hose needs to be blocked off with a cap that's provided with the forge bov.
quick question -- what's the red droplets im finding in and around the vent holes in the bov. i tried out the new bov for 20-30 miles, but later realized that there's some red fluid that apparently spat out through the vent holes. should i be worried at all?

No worries. That is only synthetic grease used to lube the piston in the valve.

those are inserts that you can tighten/loosen the BOV

How does it sound?

i like it a lot. this is NOT the all-show-no-go type of sound. i prefer the silent type like the forge. now it's time to upgrade the turbo and slap on an exhaust!

hey tom: what differences can i see when i install the rings or springs? do i have to take the bov apart?

The springs and shims are there to adjust to your cars specs. You do need to undo the six allen screws to change springs. The shims are to preload a given spring to create levels between spring colors in adjustments. Depending on the vehicle and mods either the blue spring or yellow spring should be perfect. If you have the blue in there and experience any fluttering, try the yellow. Hope this helps.
