hey do you guys know of anyone that is running entirely "catless"? like no uppipe cat or the two after turbo. i want to get an upipe soon but will running totally catless hurt me in any way? also will the be a lot of noticable black smoke out the back, the last thing i want is a really expensive ticket for an illegal exhaust. im either going to order it tonight or tomorrow depending on how many ppl get back to me tonight, so help me guys!!!:D

rex02 is catless...i'm gonna be catless hopefully by the end of the week...

man I'm running tottaly catless and no smoke or shiat like that, with a more siletn type exhaust system its not insanely loud. Only real problem is it takes a little longer to warm up in the morning.

i'm gonna torch my uppipe then be catless too :D :lol:

ya i'm catless..... nothing to worry about man.. takes longer to warm up and you get some gas smells from time to time.

eric, go with a stromung 3rd cat eliminator. it should work with all your stuff.

I am catless as well...performance gains I hear are suppose to be better...Plus I hear we dont need an IM till '05 or something like that. On top of that I haven't been harassed by police so...you should be fine!

Although the inner part of my muffler seems darker than usuall, but haven't really compared it with anyone!?

You dont need a resistor md for the uppipe that is just a temp sensor for that cat. It doesnt throw any cels and doesn't effect perforemance at all. If you dont have a temp sensor bung just tie it out of the way. If your getting a cel its from the main cat pipe with the 02 senseor and its throwing the cat inefficiancy code, even if you got the o2 sensor plugged in the temp change in the cat will set it off.

But if you get the resistor you can just pull the sensor out completely.

Thats what I meant about pull it back and tie it off. It wont do anything bad or wrong and you save money.

A resistor cost about .32 cents and all I want to know is what voltage resistor to use to cancel the CEL! I know there is literature on int i just cant seem to find it, so if anyone has the location of such information I would be greatly in debt. LUKE

once again if your getting a cel its from you DP not your UP the temp probe wont cause a cel.The 02 will on the other hand cause it. not trying to be a dick just wanna make sure you mod the right sensor.
