Hi,
I was surfing about and I found this guy's picture site. He's got a lot of pictures of his turbo legacy's EJ22T rebuild. Check it out:

i have some more in
http://www.ucf.ics.uci.edu/~aludeman/gallery/legacy-5-12-2001
these pictures are mostly of the transmission conversion. auto->5 speed
I definetly plan to add some more pictures.
i'm still working on it... I'm currently trying to deal with wrong piston rings. the ones that I have from hastings are incorrect. I will be calling them this week to see what I can do. it seems that these pistons are similiar sized to the svx.
so two other things i'm in need of are an intercooler, and a place to get the turbo rebuilt. i'm looking for air-to-air intercooler from a wrx 93-96.
any information would be great
thanks

Try the MRT classifieds you can get intercoolers there or post a want ad. Cool so I take it your tranny swap is going as smoothly as mine did?

honestly i haven't done much with the tranny yet. i've been busy working on the bottom end and dealing with work. the pedal installation went fine, and the shifter is installed. hopefully everything else will be as peachy. =]
does anyone know of any place in the san francisco bay area that rebuilds ihi turbos? the only places I could find are in southern california. (turbonectics, and turbo city)

There are number of places to source out a MY93-MY96 IC, however, most of them are gone. That particular style is highly sought after so they are rather difficult to find. I purchased mine from Andy at http://www.subaru-spares.co.uk/ . There is also http://www.central-subaru.co.uk/ and http://www.adelaidejap.com.au/ you can try. You may also want to try posting a classified on www.mrtrally.com.au , www.wrx.com.au , www.22b.com , or www.scoobynet.co.uk .
Good Luck!

Oh, and while on the subject of IC's for Legacies, I am not sure if you are aware of this or not, but the Legacies have a coolant reservoir to the drivers side of the throttle body. This piece will have to be relocated to install an IC. We noticed this when we test fitted my IC onto DLC's turbo wagon. Hunt down DLC and I'm sure he has a number of links explaining what needs to be done.
